Friendly service and a very nice room
The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very happy with the room

We liked the split level room and were very happy with the service--we checked in early our high chair and cot were there and restaurant booked. It was a pity that the model railway was closed for the week--it looked like a lot of fun. The walk around the lagoon was very nice. Sylvia park was very close for Xmas shopping.

Nice hotel nice location

my stay at the hotel was pleasant,the hotel rooms are spacious and well decorated,i used the bar and restaurant with the restaurant buffet being good value for money for both dinner and breakfast. the facilities in the room were more than adequate for my two night stay.

The Waipuna Hotel is a great conference venue, especially catering to the non profit sector. Bedrooms are very comfortable and clean. All mod cons. Good views, walking track, close to shops. Parking is easy. Restaurant features a wide variety buffet with fantastic selection. Restaurant staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is spa and pool. Conference rooms look out over the inlet. I've been to this hotel about ten times over the years and it never fails to deliver. Look out for the huge shopping centre nearby.

A nice place to stay

This was the second time we've stayed at Waipuna Hotel.
The hotel is located by a tidal lagoon and our room this time overlooked said lagoon. We were on the 5th (top) floor so we had a great view.
The first thing that struck us this time was the excellent service provided by reception. Nothing was a bother and the smiles were welcoming.
The room itself was quiet, roomy, tidy and clean. Excellent bathroom with both shower and bathtub, again, spotlessly clean.
Comfortable beds, air con if you wanted it, flat screen TV, internet connection available.
Nice restaurant downstairs, good breakfast choices available.
Would I stay again? Certainly. Great place to stay.

we had a lovely week end service was top class.our room was spacey & clean emnities. staff were excellant especially the cleaning lady that serviced our room. the hotel is in good situation for what we wanted to achieve.we will definately stay there again.

my partner and i enjoyed our stay and would stay there in the future with a great view of waipuna water. we did used the spa facility and it was good that the sucurity was there checking the area around the pool.

People are awesome there and it's a great location for relaxing as well as shopping (3mins drive). The view is fantastic.
As a staff helped us to check in said, our room was the one of the best room in the hotel but it was a bit disappointing. The carpet was a little dirty and covered with mold some part by the windows.
The spa bath.. If you are expecting a big spa bath like the hotel website shows, you need double check. Not sure it was just ours but was just normal bath size.
