Very nice hotel with fantastic location

It has become routine to stay at the K+K Hotel Opera when in Budapest. The hotel is right by the beautiful OPera House and just off the amazing Andrassy road in a surprisingly quiet street in the heart of Budapest.
Excellent hotel with good staff.

Take an hour to walk from the hotel to Heroes' square and ride the underground on your way back. It's beautiful and living history.

The K&K Opera is in a fantastic location on the Pest side of Budapest, close to many of the tourist sites and the metro & tram lines. We stayed in a classic double room, it was big, clean and modern, as was the bathroom. The room had the standard small toiletries and tea/coffee provided, as well as a mini-bar. There was no view (just onto other rooms) but as we didn't spend much time in the room that didn't bother us. The room also had air conditioning, just need to make sure the window is closed for it to go! The staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly, and we were able to leave our bags there on the final day. All in all we had a great stay there.

There is a free walking tour everyday leaving from a square about 10mins from the hotel - well worth doing!

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff
Location very convenient, easy access to the metro and within walking distance to sights.

The hotel room was clean and quite spacious. The staffs were very kind and helpful even allowed us to extend our check out to 3pm. Location was great and within walking distance to the main shopping area and sightseeing attractions. I would go back again definately.

Very good service, no problem for late check in (midnight), excellent bar with friendly english speaking staff, ourstanding breakfast buffet (open till 11am, good for sleeping in). Very clean and functional. Decent fitness center and good sauna.
Excellent location in the center, walk everywhere, right by the Opera should you wan to go there.
Rates with Agoda were very competitive. We'll definitely go there again if we travel to Budapest another time (in the spring or summer, it was cold last week end but I won't blame that on the hotel!).

we enjoyed the stay in K+K budapest. The hotel was in walking distance to city center and also very close to a metro stop. Rooms were nice except the view. Breakfast was good, even the kids enjoyed it.

I stayed at the K+K Budapest during a recent conference. It is a very pleasant place, with a helpful staff and an excellent location. The sauna is nice. The room was fine, but not exceptional, without a real view. Breakfast was OK, though the newspaper selection limited (also, this apparently being a German chain, too many TV channels were German-language). The gym was pretty limited – a strange universal, a couple of bikes and treadmill, but no instructions and no “entertainment” for distraction there, there were bottles of water, though.

The airlines lost my luggage, and I appreciated very much the kindness of the reception desk staff calling the airlines and the airport all the time until the delivery of my luggage.

The proximity to the Opera House, quite famous, is important and pleasant. Also, quite close is a nice oldfashioned brasserie, with outside tables when the weather is fine enough.
