I stayed in Metadee for 2 nights with my friend in the Deluxe room with pool access, while another friend stayed in Ramada Phuket Deevana Patong for the night. After we finished one-day's trip to Racha Island, the taxi driver drove us to Metadee to check in first.
However, during the check in process, the front desk staff always took a skeptical attitude and kept asking the same question over and over again even though I have told her that another friend will stay in Ramada. In deep night, I got a call from the front desk keep asking me impolite question such as "how many people in the room?” while I was working overtime at that time and my friend has almost being falling asleep. Surely it drove me crazy and the staff directly hung up the phone.
I’m afraid that this experience made me feel quite angry and disappointed about Metadee though it has spacious room with beautiful swimming pool and considerate room service which really delighted me at first.
In spite of the unpleasant, I do not seek any “finger pointing” as to which party shall be responsible for this and to what extents, as this should be avoided should I have done a better communication with the front desk staff. However, if this is the service attitude you always take with the Chinese tourists, I am afraid that Metadee's reputation will be negatively impacted on.
Metadee位于KATA海滩，环境幽静，基本为独栋或联体别墅，曲径通幽。我们定了泳池联通豪华房，令人耳目一新。晚上的游泳池星光点点，特别漂亮；房间装饰也是古朴风，卫生间自带大浴缸，很是舒适。此外，因我在预订时要求honeymoon decoration，故大床上还有白色毛巾叠成的两只天鹅和玫瑰花瓣，还有贴心的room service和，点了两个菠萝饭，味道也还可以。
