This hotel was very rough around the edges. If you looked closely, most things were cracked, crumbling or a bit dirty. The restaurant smelt like an old school canteen and we had wood worm shavings on our bed. Breakfast was adequate but not tasty. The view was lovely and the beach massage great but generally we were not impressed with the hotel.
“Excellent value for money”
Upgraded as a result of error at the front seat. Very polite and friendly staff.
“Away from everything”
Rude staff; little variety and quality in breakfast, and all the food is uncovered and exposed to flys and mosquitoes; not impressed with the cleaning; nice pool, peaceful beach although you can't take a sun bath at it because there are so many trees who cover the sun; very isolated, you have a tiny store where you can buy some food and drinks, two restaurants and that's it. You need to take a cab or call a tuk tuk to go to somewhere else with more stores and places to eat; at lunch and at dinner hotel's restaurantes are always empty, all the guests prefer to eat on other hotels nearby or in both restaurants next to the hotel;
“Nice for the price”
Location is a little bit isolated, you can walk down the beach or road to get to the shops and bars or jump in a taxi but be prepared to pay 300b for a 5 min ride.
We had a lovely stay at Amora Beach Resort. Great facilities, friendly staff and beautiful beach. Only problem is the location; very few other restaurants or shops around and if you want to go anywhere by taxi there is pretty much a set price of 700 baht ( $25.00AUS) one way.
“Just one night stay, overall is fine”
I stayed only one night for a next morning running event.
I didn't get a chance to use much of their facility or survey around.
Like the location that close to the quiet beach.
The hotel atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Staffs were nice and active.
My room was fine, except the extra pillow was smelly.
“Good staff and nearly the start point of Laguna Phuket marathon”
Everything is good but really need to improve for the cleanliness.
“Lost week of vacation”
We stayed in this hotel 6 years ago, it was nice resort hotel, but not now anymore - now it is hostel for chineese groups. Every nights groups arrived and during the night they were in sweeming pool, shouted, laughing - you can't sleep at all. Several times I called to reception and asked to send security there.
For sure i will not recommend this hotel at all for my friends and other people.
The resort is paradise like :P as you literally jump from the room into the Andaman sea.
Hotel staff was helpful as long as your acting/gesticulating skills are good.
“Good location ”
Good location, near the beach but staff service should be improved and get more training
